Inter Milan centre-back Milan Skriniar wants his team to focus on the upcoming Seria A clash against Parma, before thinking about their Champions League tie against Tottenham on September 18.
Inter will face Parma on Saturday in a must win match, as they are already 5 points behind league leaders Juventus and Skriniar insists that the Nerazzurri should focus on one game at a time.
“Lots of tough games are waiting for us, we’re ready,” Skriniar told Mediaset Premium.
“This is what we’re here for and we want to do well. I can’t wait to play in Europe for this shirt but we need to only think about the league at the moment and winning in front of our fans. Then we’ll think about Tottenham.”
“We didn’t do well in Reggio Emilia against Torino, we didn’t remain focused for the full 90 minutes after an excellent first half. The win against Bologna was very important, now we’ll move forward like that, taking each game as it comes.”
“I want to bring consistency to the work done last year. The important thing is to help the team because Inter always need to do better. The team is stronger now so we want to achieve significant results.”
