Thiago Silva has expressed his unhappiness on the reported row with PSG teammate Neymar during Brazil’s 2-0 win against Costa Rica.
The 26-year-old had lambasted Silva for returning the ball to Costa Rica in an act of fair play, much to the disappointment of his Paris Saint-Germain team-mate.
“I was saddened by his behaviour,” Silva said.
“By the time I returned the ball, he insulted me. But I think I was right, because they were trying to save time. I returned the ball because it was not this ball that was going to win us the game.
“I am serene about this and I was sad about his behaviour towards me.
