Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri still believes that his side can win the Seria a, as Napoli are now second in the Italian League, after they could only manage a 0-0 draw against Inter Milan at San Siro.
“Do we believe in the Scudetto? We continue to believe that we can do our best and fight till the end,”Sarri told Mediaset Premium at the end of the match.
“We weren’t far off and had some really good chances, especially in the second half, but in terms of focus and effort, it was much better than last week,” the Coach said.
“If Juventus win every game for the rest of the season, then we can only applaud and tip our hats to them. We are not the richest club in Italy, we can push them all the way.”
Sarri also talked about Insigne’s missed chance in the second half and whether Napoli are missing their key player Faouzi Ghoulam.
“Insigne is having an extraordinary season. Tonight he missed our best chance, but it was one move within a great game and a great campaign. That is all.
“Mario Rui is doing very well in terms of passing, but of course when it comes to strength and pace, Ghoulam is superior. I thought that when he got hurt, Faouzi was one of the best two or three full-backs in Europe, so anyone would miss him.”
