Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres has announced that this will be his last season for Atletico and will leave the club, once his contract expires in June.
Torres is struggling to get regular playing time for Atletico, since the club signed Diego Costa from Chelsea in January.
Torres came through Atletico Madrid’s youth academy and made his debut for the senior team in 2001 and scored over 90 goals for them, before joining Liverpool in 2007. He rejoined Atletico in 2015.

“This will be my last season at the club, as you can see I am playing less compared to last season,” Torres told the media.
“It will be very difficult to say goodbye to Atletico for the second time. When I arrived here at the age of 10, I always thought Atletico would be my home.”
“I’m enjoying the Atleti that I always dreamed of. I would like to leave winning a title. I want to keep playing for two, three or five years.”
