Italian giants AC Milan have been banned from European football for one year by UEFA for not respecting Financial Fair Play(FFP) regulations.
So Milan will not take part in the coming season’s Europa League and Fiorentina will take their place in the competition.
This comes after UEFA rejected both a voluntary agreement and a settlement agreement with the club, insisting their financial stability was unsustainable, and there are many doubts over the current Chinese owners, running the club.
Milan have decided to appeal the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, officially confirmed by the club –
AC Milan has instructed its legal team to appeal the decision seeking a prompt review of the ruling.
