Liverpool and AS Roma have struck a deal for Alisson Becker, who will cost the Reds €75 million, and it will go down as the most expensive transfer ever for a goalkeeper.
Liverpool made an offer yesterday of €60 million plus €10 million in bonuses, which was very close to Roma’s asking price.
Now La Stampa and Sky Sports Italia are both reporting that a new bid has been made which is acceptable to the Giallorossi. The total bid is €75 million, with reports that will be made up of €60 million plus another €15 million in bonuses.
Alisson, who initially wanted to join Real Madrid, has accepted a move to the Premier League, so the transfer could be closed quickly.
