Juventus v Sassuolo : Preview, Expected XI and Prediction

Juventus will host Sassuolo in their Second home game of the season, as Cristiano Ronaldo is still waiting for his first goal in the Bianconeri colours.

The Old Lady have started the season in the best way possible by winning all 3 league matches they have played so far this season and they will hope to continue this winning streak against an impressive Sassuolo side at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

The biggest question for Juventus this weekend will be how much Massimiliano Allegri will rotate the squad keeping in mind the upcoming Champions League opener against La Liga side Valencia.

Sassuolo themselves come into this game undefeated in their opening three games having notched up an impressive eight goals along the way.

What The Managers Are Saying –

This is where the seasons starts in earnest. Our first objectives are to qualify from our Champions League group and lead the way in the league in order to be fighting on all fronts come March. There can be no questioning Paulo Dybala’s qualities. I liked his performance against Parma. As with all the other players, he needs to keep working towards reaching peak condition.

This is a top of the table clash, that’s what the results tell us. We had three good performances and seven points we fully deserved. We’re going to Turin in order to pick up points and not with the idea we’ve got nothing to lose, because otherwise we’ve already lost.

Team-News and Probable XI –

#  Mario Mandzukic, Cristiano Ronaldo, Emre Can, Blaise Matuidi and Wojciech Szczesny are sure to start the match against Sassuolo, as confirmed by Max Allegri.

#  Miralem Pjanic, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini are expected to be rested before the Valencia match. Paulo Dybala will again start from the bench according to multiple reports in Italy.

#  This is how Juventus should line-up against Sassuolo –

Cuadrado   Rugani   Benatia   De Sciglio

              Khedira   Can   Matuidi

         Costa   Mandzukic   Ronaldo

Whenever Juventus are playing at the Allianz stadium there is only one outcome that you can expect and that’s a Juve win. If Cristiano Ronaldo could finally score his debut goal in a black and white outfit, it will make this victory even more beautiful.
