Chelsea are ready to splash a total of €100 million for two of the most talented players in Europe – Alisson Becker of AS Roma and Aleksandr Golovin of CSKA Moscow to kickstart their transfer campaign in style.
Alisson and Golovin were transfer targets for Real Madrid and Juventus respectively, but now Chelsea have entered the race and are ready to offer the asking prices for both the players.
The Blues are reportedly prepared to meet Roma’s €70m asking price for Alisson, moving ahead of Liverpool and Real Madrid, as Thibaut Courtois looks set to leave Stamford Bridge.
As far as Aleksandr Golovin is concerned, CSKA want at least €25 million and Chelsea have over the last 24 hours significantly increased their proposal.
Maurizio Sarri had already wanted Golovin at Napoli, so if the Coach is to take over at Stamford Bridge, a push for him makes perfect sense.
The 22-year-old scored seven goals with six assists in 43 competitive games this season.
