Daniele Rugani of Juventus and Matias Vecino of Inter have emerged as the prime targets for Premier League giants Chelsea in this transfer window.
Inter want Davide Zappacosta and cash in exchange for the Uruguayan midfielder Vecino and Chelsea could be willing to accept this offer.
As far as Daniele Rugani is concerned, it will be hard to convince Juventus to sell one of their most talented young players, especially if Mehdi Benatia joins Arsenal.
Rugani, 23, will possibly cost Chelsea somewhere around €40-50 million and his agent has confirmed that the Italian International wants more playing time and could join Chelsea if they appoint Maurizio Sarri as their new manager.
“It’s obvious to say that Chelsea-Sarri issue must be resolved first,” Rugani’s agent told Sportitalia.
“After that, we can proceed with the negotiations and make them more or less concrete. Daniele needs more playing time, that’s really important.”
